Re: dhc3-t windscreen sealer...

If the MM says to use a particular structural adhesive for window installation, why not just use it?
The correct adhesive might help keep the window in place should a substantial portion of duck or other bird make it past the prop.

Re: Engine Run ups at 3:30 AM at YVR

The tip growl from a -8 is a sound thet carries for some reason, Although Air North still has some 748's that pass thru YVR (orange tails) which could also be the culprit, if they were undergoing maintenance in YVR to make an am dep. (do they overnight?) The runup area at the end of Lima or H2 wide ...

Meecka, why stick at M1? if you are going for a change ...go BIG!!! Cargojet is a pretty good company in Hamilton if you are a professional AME with troubleshooting abilities they will give you a shot (M1 or M2...whateeever!) they have lots of spots available for the next little while due to expansi...

I respectfully disagree with widow's suggestion to go to Securitas or Transport.
My personal experience in doing just that was entirely ineffective at changing anything and personally and professionally costly.

Re: Boeing 767 More Fuel Efficient than Airbus 330, Analysis

The fuselage diameter is less on the 767 which is partly why it seats less passengers. This might lead to less cruise drag and fuel burn. Cruise is likely where a tanker spends most of its time. A tanker is a fuel freighter not a passenger "bus" so maybe on this application the Air-bus loses the con...

Battery backup "jetpacks?" are installed in B1900D's with 4 tube EFIS to keep the DPU's(display proccessor's) running under all situations. Other FADEC's run dedicated PMG's (permanent magnet generator size of a coffee mug, RollsRoyce) to ensure uninterupted power. Would have thought something simil...

There must be a shortage of "E"'s at least or AMO's could not justify bringing in overseas work visa staff to fill AME positions (in the same city where AC just laid off so many AME's).

Widow's posts uniformly have a positive spirit and are an attempt to shine a light into some shady areas. The 1900C can be configured with a large belly cargo pod also. I think the 1900C would be an ideal combi with the bulkhead in a 15 passenger setting (forward two rows/4 seats) and the big canoe underneath.
As long as your flight length doesn't test the passengers bladder endurance.

An additional factor that can apply is if the wire is "tinned" or not. Some aviation copper wire is coated with if I recall correctly silver? Which has a higher conductance than copper. But remember...
The tire mechs, Fare box techs, and other unlicensed trades working for your local bus/transit company will make more money than the majority of AME's in Canada this year... just like last year.
