Re: Some U.S. regional airlines are now sponsoring Canadians for the H1B Vis

I left highschool early as I wasn't really getting too much out of it, had good marks, was popular enough, but after a couple years I got what I was going to get out of it. Dropped out, took the GED, scary that some folks need to study for that, just walked in and knocked it out. May I ask if you’r...

The only reason he went to the states is because he failed out of college in Canada and couldn’t get a job here, so he went to the states back when the regionals were paying FO’s 16k a year. Now the tables have turned in the last 5 years with regards to wages, and he’s telling us Canadian Pilots now...

Re: Narrowbody Preference: EMJ vs A320

Have there been any rouge positions in the last few classes or are people sliding over at a later date? Also, if 767 mainline FO is a new hire position (which I heard it has been recently) would it be worth while to bid that and slide over to rouge on the 67? I guess what I’m asking is which airplan...

They don’t renew your cat 1. Although it covers everything in the cat 1 and then some, it’s just a premployment medical. Your medical must be valid when you go.

Has anybody else received all of the 'expect an interview' emails and still have not received an invitation for the video interview?

Re: The Air Canada OTS thread

I've recently heard of candidates being given a medical prior to the in person interview . Not sure if this is a temporary thing due to a backlog in interviewing or if this is the new process going forward.

Re: Interview call back time ?

No they tell you you'll hear something within 4 weeks. It will either be a PFO, an email saying your in the pool for a future course, or a course date if they are hiring at that time.
