Nice try Skyisblind. BOD meeting isn't until Apr 3rd. So your info is incorrect, inaccurate, unfounded, unprofessional and frankly just plain BS. I think we will all know on Apr 3rd.

Re: When HRSDC has to chose between Canadians and Foreigners
That's a bit misleading. Didn't Canjet interview and hire a bunch of AT guys. I believe they are at sim right now. Funny how we haven't heard any of this.

Re: Air Transat sets stage for important announcements
Are these guys staying at the same hotels that Bev Oda says at? Because to save 20 million by staying closer to the airport has me in stitches! When are they really going to ask for wage consessions? You can't pay $180k a year to fly an NG in this market. AT has some very serious legacy costs lookin...

Re: Foreign pilots : Creating Database of qualified Canadian
Both Air Transat and Canjet provide a service for the tour company Transat At. Theses airlines are not affiliated in any way what so ever.

Re: AIR TRANSAT FALL LAYOFF here we are...
There are lots of pilots who left Canjet and are going to be laid off at AT that Canjet can pick up on a contractual basis. Pilots whom Canjet has trained and paid for. I can't see any reason to train someone through an initial course (2months) and then have them just jump ship back unless they plan...

Never has been. There are currently several new hires on course without an NG type rating. And many more who are on the line. Please apply!

Giles,
Canjet has postponed its next GS until we know for sure when your team lays off. I'm sure we will welcome all those who choose to come over.

Re: Jazz (Thomas Cook)
Now essentially the scope cause is out the window now that this CPA has been renewed. What's to stop jazz from flying 767's next? We got some serious issues here folks!

Re: Jazz (Thomas Cook)
This is not a contract that went out to tender Localizer. This is an agreement between two parties. Two parties that must agree to terms in 2011 for this to continue if it ever passes regulatory approval.

Truedude... Your right on the ball with that one. No one can outbid Canjet. And this did not go out to tender. Jazz if anything will be the most expensive in the industry.. Hands down!

Re: Jazz (Thomas Cook)
It's kinda funny how you jazz guys think your going to hold on to these planes that are owned by Thomas Cook. Do you really think they will just leave them behind after winter for you guys to use. Really guys!! Jazz is going to be a managment company for Thomas Cook. And maybe at best a crewing comp...

Re: Jazz (Thomas Cook)
Here's my Guess. Now it's only a prediction so here goes. Jazz is going to be a management company for Thomas Cook for some time. As the birds are "G" reg Thomas Cook aircraft I think they will be crewed by thier crews(TC guys) as I can almost be certain Jazz hasn't started training or even has an a...
