Re: Jobs - Best Bush flying outside of Canada / Botswana, Af

Good post men :D it looks encouraging, just one question.

Don´t you need at least 500 hours of total time to be hired¿? I read something about some insurance conditions, can somebody be hired with just 200 tt¿??

Good flights pilots :)

Re: Unemployed pilots.

Hi again, I just would like to add something else. I thing there will always be unemployed pilots in Canada because there are LAZY people everywhere, especially in Spain. I´m sure some slacker pilots reject jobs up north if they are living happily in Toronto, because it is "too far, just to fly a sm...

Re: Unemployed pilots.

I listened there was a time when rookie pilots could get a flying job with just 200 hours TT, just 3 years ago, is that true? Can anybody corroborate this?? I read in europeans forums than some years ago,(( maybe around 2007)) some foreigners pilots got jobs in Canada even before finishing their fl...

Re: CPL TO JAA?

The industry is very tight right now Unfortunately true. The Low Cost airlines are hiring Very few airlines are hiring because many of them have been firing pilots, it´s a bad age to be a pilot in Europe. And the airlines who have been hiring are asking type rating of airbus 320 or boeing 737 and h...

Re: Unemployed pilots.

Hi again ¡ I followed reading information and I found out that it would be "quite easy" :? getting the Permanent Residency . Immigrating as a Skilled Work, I guess I would have freedom to change employer, unlike with temporary permission. http://www.immigration.ca/permres-independent-highskilledocc....

Thank you very much, few by few we are making way  I´ve been reading I would be a "skilled worker" as a nurse, since they just ask: For your application to be eligible for processing, you must: include the results of your official language proficiency test, AND have a valid offer of arranged e...

One question guys, when you talk about working the dock for a year, do you mean working the spring-summer months on the ground to get the flying job the next summer? Or you mean working on the dock the whole year¿??

Re: Unemployed pilots.

the only thing you are going to get with 200TT is a ramp job with the hope that you get a flying job in a year or two. That´s exactly what I expect, i´ve been reading this forum for a long time. My idea is climbing step by step, and some day coming back to Europe with many hours and find a job anyw...

Re: Unemployed pilots.

Its best not to take the aviation industry too seriously Spend your life getting a normal job and a degree outside of aviation If I would receive 1 dolar each time I have read this, I would be rich, it´s a famous topic in european forums. I have a normal job, I am a nurse, but I don´t want to spent...
