Re: Mid Size Captain/FO salary
If by midsize you mean Citation XL/Hawker 800 size, then about 120-150 captain and 75-110 for f/o. If you are talking Super-Mid CL300/G200 130-150 captain and 80-120 for f/o. These are the current going rates but if you are dealing with the owner directly, you can certainly add 25-40% more on either...

Re: Corporate Pilot Southern Ontario Ad
Just noticed this ad and it’s very vague (by design) but does anyone have any idea what operation this is? Real, scam? Little hesitant to just throw my personal details to some random email http://www.avcanada.ca/forums2/viewtopic.php?t=158270 Gathering personal data under the guise of an employmen...

Re: Let's Talk Rankings
That is a very tough thing to do, for many reasons. Most of these companies have many opportunity's within their ranks of varying levels QOL on the same equipment. Ill give you an example... Chartright has almost 10 Challenger 300/350's. Some of them are 3 crew, some 2, some are charter friendly bir...

SSBA is a great place to work. Ive done two tours of duty there over the years and they have always been great. Organized and crews are very well supported from senior management to flight ops. The interview with the current CP (Mark) who is a great guy and certainly a "pilots chief pilot" is HR bas...

Re: Photo; 1st Citation 680 Sovereign with Winglets . . .
They aren't even close to being ready for certification. They are doing testing and have done some promotional photo shoots at the Wichita service center. They didn't have prices or performance numbers but I was told 1-2 years before they are ready for purchase. 6 week downtime for installation and ...

Re: Photo; 1st Citation 680 Sovereign with Winglets . . .
They are aftermarket mods for all "old" sovereigns. Last time in ICT, they were trying to drop hints on them. They are essentially scaled down citation x winglets. Elliptical design. On,y cessna service centers can install them. I am not sure on price and numbers, but will be in the know soon.

Re: Best Route to Corporate Flying
2800 hours "could" get you into a corporate job if you have the right connection and you're the right fit. A lot of corporate flying comes down to the usual suspects such as experience and connections but there's a lot of emphasis on attitude. The person sitting next to you has to be able to tolera...

Re: Cessna rolls out first production all new Sovereign Mar
Is the overall wingspan longer with the wingtips? The picture makes it look like a really long wing... How about Mmo, any faster? I believe it adds approximately 4 feet of span. It already does have a very capable and long wing. The tips look great and bring the design into the modern day. I am sti...
