Porter part time positions?
Does Porter still offer part time pilot positions? I’m a former employee with about 4000 hours on the Q and a DHC8 ACP delegation. I know when I was there before that there were a few people working at flight safety as well as working the line. Does anyone know if there is someone you can speak to d...

Re: Encore Direct Entry Captain YYZ
Just wondering if any current Captains or F/O's could answer a few question about Encore: - What are the average block hours per month? - What are the pairings like these days? Hours? Length? Legs per day? - How does bidding work? Socialized or Seniority based? - Does anyone commute from YOW and if ...

Re: Keewatin
Keewatin is not a bad place to work. The pay isn't great and they do have bonds which makes it a stepping stone for many people. That being said the people there for the most part are great and the flying can be a lot of fun. The PC12 salary is higher because they have trouble finding people for it....

Re: PORTER Interview ?
I just did an Interview with Porter last week and they called 2 of my internal references the day after. Is that a pretty good sign or do they check internal references for everyone? I had a friend go through the process and after 6 weeks got the PFO... Also, they requested a credit check in the app...

Re: 2012 Ground School
I talked to an HR girl today and she said that they will be doing more interviews in June but there is no plan for any ground schools in the near future. They are just building up a pool of candidates.

Future at Jazz?
I was called today for an interview at Jazz and I'm wondering what current Jazz employees think about the company today and what the future holds. I currently work for another Airline working a rotation in the Arctic. I think Jazz is a good company and it would be nice to be home with my family more...

First Air Interview
I know there are a couple of other threads on First Air but there was very little information about the interview process.
I am wondering if anyone knows what specific questions they ask in the interview?
Does anyone know what questions are on the exam?
Any information is greatly appreciated.

Re: Keewatin
I do about 55 hours per rotation on average. Can be as high as 80. That's on Medevacs out of YRT. Charters are much less usually. I have heard that they only do about 30 hours per rotation. I have no idea how much they fly out of YFB.

Re: Keewatin
King Air spots will most likely be filled internally. They are talking about hiring from the outside for the PC12 but who knows. Lots of qualified candidates at the company right now. You can live anywhere in the world but you are responsible for getting yourself to YOW if you are based in YFB and i...

Jazz Sim Eval
Can anyone who has recently done the sim evaluation give me an idea of what to expect? I have a rough idea but I am looking for more details. Do they always use the same airport, approaches, etc? How much time do they give you to look over the power settings, procedures, SOP's? Can anyone tell me wh...

Re: Jazz/AC question
From their website: Jazz is not a typical airline. We have a commercial agreement with Air Canada that is the core of our business. Under the Capacity Purchase Agreement (CPA), Air Canada purchases substantially all of Jazz’s seat capacity based on predetermined rates. In reality, we are a contract ...

Can anyone tell me what SPARE or SAR/PAR answering technique means?
I did a quick search but turned up nothing useful.
