Re: New TC Cannabis rules

What you are referring to is 11-nor-9-carboxy-Δ⁹-tetrahydrocannabinol (THC-COOH). This is a non psychoactive metabolite that is lipid soluble. When stressed your body does not turn this back into the psychoactive THC which got you high in the first place. The THC-COOH is what drug testing looks for ...

Re: Boeing Max.

I've mentioned this many times before in previous posts....but for all the fighting the 2 crews did - they were both able to continue their climb and/or maintain altitude. Now the stick may have been in their laps or they had their feet on the dash - but they were still able to maintain control. So...

Re: Esop reduction..

It's when the CEO states that the reduction in match is due to concessions they had to take in fees and performance incentive payments from AC due to this 17 CPA that it makes it feel like a stab in the back. So the Jazz pilot group drops 15% to 45 while the rest not locked into a collective agreeme...

I don't believe the two issues were related. Just Google Nextjet, Gallivare, pilot and drugs. Perhaps they read better in Swedish but the google translate versions were entertaining at the time.

Re: Voyageur

Thank you Pecessix for that very useful information. I'm trying to figure out what a new FO on the Dash 8 or CRJ would make during his/her first year. This is what I've come up with... Salary for overseas work: 36000 x 1.35 = 48600 Per diems for half the year: 50 x 182 = 9100 Total: 48600 + 9100 = ...

I am aware of one that was hired in their early 50's. Good chance there were others.

I imagine the employment ad would entail everything and is not specific to new development locations. Ad lists DHC7/8 and CRJ.

Re: Interpretation of On Call FLT HR Restriction 705 Ops

Ok, so most restrictive at the time. Once the crew hits 100hrs, they can no longer be put on call, but can be placed on regular scheduled runs allowing them to run up to 120.

Was looking forward to the break, but thanks for the clarification.

Interpretation of On Call FLT HR Restriction 705 Ops

I'm looking for a little feedback on how the On Call flight hour restriction should be interpreted in 705 operations. In the case where a flight crew generally operates under scheduled operations but receives a few "On Call" days, would the most restrictive apply and they be now limited to the 100hr...
