I was never one for union talk. But I am worn out with this company and our eastern base manager. ! After years of hard work especially our tough winters to keep these aircraft running solid, I have towed the rope! Time and time again.! I want respect, seniority and job security. Well this has totally wrecked my buzz.. Where is The AME association in all this? What happened to quality and safety? We need representation. I mean real representation, I am getting really tired of this cutthroat micro management!

It seems that the cost of living has gone up in the past few years, I think everyone can agree? But our wage is not keeping pace. We work night shifts, holidays rain or shine. We keep the aircraft looked after and all we want is a decent wage. It seems Our Westjet is the same as every other Airline ...

approaching the 20 year mark.Most of, at Pearson, on large commercial equipment, money is about 10% higher than 15 years ago, I still grace the ramp with my "skill" on most holidays at straight time, and am commonly refered to as the"maintenance guy".
