Re: Negotiations
For the AC mainline pilots on here shitting on Jazz pilots and trying to pressure us to vote a certain way… kindly f!ck off. Pre COVID Jazz did 800 departures per day we are now at half that. Why? Because 220s are being used on many of what pre-covid were considered Jazz routes. Except they aren’t ...

Re: Negotiations
[/quote] Vote on the conditions of today, not an imaginary future that MAY NOT even happen. To all the yes voters out there, if you were guaranteed sunshine and roses in the economy for the next ten years would you still vote yes on this MOS? Think about it like that and see how you would feel about...

Re: Negotiations
Vote No, a recession hits and we wont be seeing any leverage for many years. AC will not come back to the table fast, as can be seen in this MOS taking a year to come to fruition. We'd be lucky if they came back at all Vote Yes, and we take their money while they realize this isn't enough to solve t...

Re: Equipment bid
FYI rudder has been around Jazz and it's predecessors for almost 40 years, and has rarely been wrong on much in my 15 years here. Not saying what he says is gospel- but as he mentioned, prepare to be disappointed. The situation is dire, vaccine or not. I will not be dissappointed because I dont hav...

Re: Equipment bid
Why do people take this crap for gospel? I work for Jazz. Nobody in any position of authority from Jazz or AC has offically confirmed any of this. Obviously it is stressful being out of work (I bought a house and had a kid shortly before being laid off, so I know the pain). However it is no use wha...

Re: Equipment bid
Try not to get worked up about unfounded speculation. Prepare yourself to be disappointed. I hope that things turn out better, but there is ZERO guidance from the decisionmakers that a magical recovery is on the horizon. Listen carefully to what CR has said publicly. Smart players hope for the best...

Re: Equipment bid
Based on this it does not look like many recalls will occur in 2021 at Jazz? Maybe a few more pilots called back in fall of 2021 but I could see most recalls not happening until spring/fall 2022. man I hope this isnt the case.. If Jazz is flying 70%+ of 2019 block hours in summer 2022 then there wi...

Re: Questions for Jazz pilots
Generally downturns are a good time to start training, by the time you are done the industry will be picking up again. If you start training when the industry is picking up, you'll be late to the show and bottom of a senority list isnt a good place to be for the next downturn. That advice was given ...
