These are really good as well. Downloadable PDF and free on the FAA website. Looking at the Technician books.

Did I bitch and complain about it, you bet. Did I love it, not all the time. But I have a great job. As for the other post I was pointing out...

Re: The Bombardier VS Boeing thing

We all know of course, if this was an Alberta company, it would be long, long gone. No federal money for the west, but we must mollycoddle Quebec. No, it wouldn't be. If Alberta had a strong aerospace company it would receive the same treatment. Digging something out of the ground for the sole reas...

Since when does common sense have to be in the CARs? It doesn't say to not lock your nuts in a vise in the CARs, but you probably shouldn't do it.

Re: slap in the face

Then don't do it. Why is that so hard? I know people who have taken PRM jobs just to get into the door. One was just voted top 20 under 40 in Canadian aviation. No longer PRM, but it was the start. So just because it won't work for you don't paint everyone else in your colors.

FYI, High School enrollments are also down. Also funding from Governments are drying up as well, BC is cutting post secondary funding by $50 million in the next three years. There is a labour shortage coming. Guaranty it.

There are less students and there are less "skilled" students. I can see that industry is about to find out that unless things change there will be a significant shortage of AME's. irregardless of any articles you may read to the contrary.
