Re: VFR Multi-IFR time vs VFR Multi Pic time

have double D breasts and am a female (which I could be and what's up with that remark??? and We are all trained according to the same standards when we start out and that is exactly what I'm trying to do, start out. Perhaps I should explain. It was tongue in cheek to what I perceived was a bit of ...

Re: Choosing between an F/O Multi-IFR position and VFR Multi

First of all, if you think you are going to finish training and have a choice of jobs you are either a super pilot, a gorgeous female, or have some great friends...but now on to your question. Not a super pilot, I don't even have my commercial on hand yet. Might or might not be a gorgeous female. I...

Re: Choosing between an F/O Multi-IFR position and VFR Multi

The whole idea of this question was to compare VFR MPIC vs MULTI IFR f/o time. It didn't mean that I have great friends and great contacts in cool high places, have double D breasts and am a female (which I could be and what's up with that remark???) which other people don't have access to that will...

Re: Choosing between an F/O Multi-IFR position and VFR Multi

While not impossible, neither of those are likely scenarios for a first job straight out of flight school I'm afraid. The most likely scenario involves some form of non flying work, with hopes of an upgrade to a 703/704 FO position. I absolutely agree with you on this one that neither of those are ...

Multi-IFR time vs VFR Multi Pic time

Just trying to get an experienced opinion on this one. I am currently a CPL Multi-IFR pilot in the making and will be graduating with give or take 225-250 hours at the end of april. I edited my post due to the fact that people are speculating and answering a totally different question. I would like ...

As a side note to anyone who's written it recently, have the visibility rules re: level of service/RVOP/LVOP hit the test in any meaningful way yet?

Min vis with and w/o ops specs for the INRAT Exam

I was wondering if anyone that's done the exam recently or in past years, still saw this type of question on the exam. There's a whole table, actually two tables to learn by heart, and I just wanted to be sure if it's necessary or not... or if the tables are given out during the exam. This is one of...

Re: INRAT EXAM & Canada Pilot / Scuba-diving Limitations?

regulations for pilots that went scuba diving might've changed according to recent info published on dauntless software for INRAT What on earth does IFR flight have to do with scuba diving, which isn't applicable to VFR flight at the same altitude?! Anyways ... AFAIK there are no CARs applicable to...

INRAT EXAM & Canada Pilot Dauntless Aviation Software

Hello, I am writing my INRAT exam tomorrow. I studied with the Canada Pilot . com software by dauntless aviation and rad the KEWL- HANE twice. Opened the AIM for clarifications and other stuff. I was wondering if anyone else studied with dauntless software and if their exam went well? Also apparentl...

Re: MIG-21 goes down in Romania

Actually, to be quite frank, Romania has lost 24 migs in only 20 years. The numbers are even bigger. According to a friend of mine who's an ex-AME for the Romanian Military, the maintenance done there is top notch. May they rest in peace and hopefully be the last to die at the mercy of russian jets.

Re: 13 Question Salary Survey! Your input is NEEDED!

J-Hunter, I realize you said you did this survey in a hurry, and say you can't change it, so it makes me wonder how you intend to accurately meet this objective: "Our objective is 500 after which results will be split up according to experience , position and years with the company." First off, I d...

Re: 13 Question Salary Survey! Your input is NEEDED!

How are the numbers so far....what you expected or disappointing? Highs and lows, all depends on the companies, seniority and etc...; it also broadens a lot of horizons and makes you a lot more conscious when it comes to the role of aviation in Canada. I have 376 people that responded up to now and...

Re: 13 Question Salary Survey! Your input is NEEDED!

J-Hunter, Are you interested in hearing from people with CPLs who left aviation? I know a lot of people with CPLs who never got the first job and even a few people with over 1000 hours that said F#(\< it and left for greener pastures. I think unless you take into account the people who never contin...

Re: conditions salariales

Re: 13 Question Salary Survey! Your input is NEEDED!

Submitted. The only comment I have is the question of what tier you work for. A company like Transwest would be both 2 and 3 in your scale, but a PA31 pilot and a saab capt would be miles apart, both selecting "captain". I agree that the survey does need a lot of fine-tuning however I put it togeth...
