Re: Any current info on perimeter?

there is not any entry level direct 250 tt at perimeter as most of everybody said. I was an instructor on a single I`ve been an instructor on the twin at perimeter. But if I have to make a suggestion is go the ramp...it is faster career then be an instructor. Plus, you dont need any raccomandetion t...

Re: Job advice for 1000hr+ flight instructor

You are missing one requirement: knowing someone. It is almost absurd but it is true. It is such a small industry that almost everybody knows someone inside a company. So try to find some connection and go for it. I was an instructor and if someone says to you that it is worthless time tell him to f...

And when we want to get some good weather we fly for almost ``free`` down in ...

Re: Finders fees for jobs.

loopa, My criticism was not for you rather for the person who posted that kind of offer, that will attract the most unstable minds into the idea that to become a professional pilot only requires money and for those who dont have it, it is just waste of time. I will fight this kind of mentality up to...

Re: Finders fees for jobs.

Imagine I know a mob boss and I say:`` Hey can you help me to get a job as a pilot? I will make you an offer you cant refuse!`` It is so ridiculous! Please change career..do not post insults like this on a pubblic forum. It is offensive for who is still working hard with ethic and to who made the mo...

Re: Co-Pilot (The North West Company) - Can't submit resume?

Amen to that. 1100 hours here and out of 40+ companies I've spoken to, only 4 or 5 have taken the time to even reply. Not sure what I hate more, a PFO letter or being outright ignored :? So story time kids..At the end of an uneventful day of job-hunting at the airport, I walked into a Mac's Conveni...

Re: Co-Pilot (The North West Company) - Can't submit resume?

I applied for a job with these guys a few years ago. I only had 500TT so I didn't get the job but I was given a direct email to the person hiring. I will see if I can dig it up and pm the details to people who are interested. One side note though... I have heard that this is not the best job. Maybe...

I do not see anything wrong with AIRsprint. Every company has their own personality. They have rules, strategies and ethic. Who likes it, more then welcome to apply. Who doesnt, is more then welcome to apply somewhere else. Why we have always complain or even compare every company, highlighing the b...

i guess in canada its almost impossible to get on with the majors with just a type rating. maybe Jazz? I just want to know when Jazz will be a major airline? When we have 6 57s or do we need all 11 to be major. I mean 133 705 category aircraft doesn't seem to be doing it. Go get your type rating, s...

It is very interesting to see how many professors and smart asses there are in this forum. Making fun of a genuine question that for you navigated pilots seems stupid but for a young graduated pilot might be a solution of his thoughts. Anyway Nathan, if you were in europe I would strongly raccomende...
