Re: Fly Standing Up for only About $7.50 a Ticket!
  This is absolutely hillarious... but shoking at the same time. I guess the people who buy these supposed tickets will have no intentions of actually relaxing during their flight. Sure as hell something I would never go for. I would rather fly standby and take my chances with a REAL s...

Re: FAA gives approval for flying car (link to video)
That plane-car thing is absolutely amazing :prayer: LoL -- I guess if the CofA were to ever be voided, it wouldn't matter cause you would just drive the plane to work. If traffic was driving you insane, just pop out the wings and get the hell out of there. I think I'm gonna get one. But some ...

Sex ban on the A380
A friend of mine sent me a rather interesting but straightforward article on Singapore Airline's "No Sex Policy" in their double bed suites on the A380. http://www.timesonline.co.uk/tol/travel/news/article2747522.ece From the article: “So they’ll sell you a double bed, and give you privacy and endle...

what is the best way for me to close my Canadian flight plan upon arriving in Buffalo? Should I just contact London Radio on 126.7 from the air and ask them to close my plan when I have KBUF in sight? Or is there another solution. I have never flown into Buffalo, but as far as I know, contacting Lo...

News Article: "How will 787's new materials fare in a crash"
Quite an interesting article. http://seattletimes.nwsource.com/html/businesstechnology/2012201098_787tests27.html From the article: In 2005, as design of the Dreamliner advanced, a previously undisclosed Boeing analysis showed a crash that is survivable in a largely metal 777 would be deadly in a 78...

Re: Polish Pesident Dies in Crash
Here are some photos from the flight path. From the looks of it the aircraft was flying below the elevation of the runway  In the elevation display they show the aircraft at 2.5 meters with landing gear marks in the grass at the 244 meter elevation. (runway elevation was at 254 meter above s...

Maybe my source of information is skewed but I thought that they flew past their destination and never spoke to ATC the whole time. How could they be vectored on the appraoch if there was no communication between the NWT Pilots and MSP ATC??

Am I the only one that thinks that looks like a piece of the elevator? From the looks of it, it would appear to be the elevator from the left horizontal stab... Could be the wingtip after initial contact. Lack of full aileron control might explain the roll...just sayin. :D Very true. But then again...

Air Canada does not currently sell a First Class cabin, only Business Class and Economy. I expect it will be the same as the current XM configuration with individual sleeper suites. Re: Polish Pesident Dies in Crash
Speculation is that the first impact was before the highway. Speculation is the key word --- from looking at the field around that "supposed" elevator, it seems a bit out of place (nothing else around). Although it looks like the left evelvator of an aircraft, it's likely just a peice of tin or met...
