I have a family too, AC is hiring now but you don't know when is going to strart firing. If you found a good company, brought a house and make good money, stay where you are? Maybe in the future (when you will have more jet time) instead commuter, AC will offer you a 320 position... at that point......

if you have Space Shuttle experience, how do you log it?

They have increased their pay scale over 4 years ago. CPTS on the King air start at 36K for northbay based, and 50K for the medevac bases. Cojo's around 26K.
