Re: New TA reached!

"Only downfall was that as a pilot you have to hang out with other pilots!" Man you hit it! As a former tradesman turned airline pilot you actually aren't kidding. On average I've never met such a grandiose bunch of self righteous/important people anywhere. And they are hands-down some of the most m...

Re: jazz interview questions

It is a great place to work. I understand KAG's ideas on seniority systems and mostly agree on that point. However, with the new contract, we are just a short while away from having FLICA implemented and a Timebank system; these will help mitigate "juniority" issues.

"Hypothetically speaking. Should someone give up a night cargo job at 65K a year and go to Jazz?"

ABSOLUTELY.

Re: A320 and B767 for Jazz pilots

" Pffffffft....... doesn't mean much of anything. But they better get even more imaginative on their business model. Air Canada is likely going to pound Jazz into the dirt and leave it to rot in a few years. "

They said that about Westjet about a decade and a half ago.

Shit happens. Just like Westjet's lack of US operations experience a few years back in LAX came within 11m of about 300 pax checking out early. The list of incidents and companies is long, buddy.

Re: Are pilots still being hired directly from Flight School

What convinces me you're not too bright is your talk of things changing in 9 years and ooooooooo better watch out. This is an industry that can change overnight and you're talking about 9 years? Jazz is very well positioned: 5 years TC contract that will grow every year, 9 years left within the curr...

Re: Jazz Air LP signs 5 year deal with Thomas Cook Canada

Ciao Samson.

Back on topic. I don't think TC and Jazz got together for 6 57's. I'm hearing 11 57's and some A320/330 stuff on the horizon (2012).
