Re: Conair Career...it's a good time to get on.

Still don't get how they can work in the US. The US FAA has two different seaplane endorsements. They have a single engine seaplane rating and a multi engine seaplane rating. Bridger owns a twin otter on amphibious floats that they’ve used to train their flight crews to multi engine seaplane standa...

Re: Proposal for Canada and Australia to share water bombers

Australia is so concerned about wildfires they would like to rent tankers. If they were really concerned they'd buy them like the rest of the world. Makes me think wire was invented by two Aussi's fighting over a penny.

Blackbox App?

Begs the question. Could this lead to the development of a cheap alternative? It seems sturdy enough.

Re: What exactly were these chopper cops saying YWG

The solution is simple, voice recorders in all police vehicles. To be archived, played back in public and reviewed by a citizens review board (daily) to make sure we drive any human tendency out of our police officers. Ya that I'll do it. :smt014 The best part is the review committee would have to b...

Good advice Photofly. You'll need to successfully navigate all the hoops that the Gumitup of Canada requires. http://www.cic.gc.ca/englisH/immigrate/index.asp My advice on the temporary foreign Workers program is be careful. Many of jobs and the rules are too restrictive do do you any good. http://w...

Re: Rumor: Cariboo mating with a moose

A few years back an MNR pilot doing low level moose survey in a Maul Rocket crashed inverted in the spruce near Timmins. As they were hanging upside down the aircraft started to rock and sway from side to side. They looked out the right side window to see a moose struggling to get out from under the...

In my line of work it was up to 4 hours at a time, and yes nausea would be a problem at times.

It's a good thing the media hasn't gotten a hold of this info otherwise they would pump this up so bad and scare the crap out of any passenger stepping on an Airbus for their next flight.
Worries me and has me thinking twice.

Used to watch ROK Airforce in them for hours doing mock dog fights over Sacheon/Jinju airport in S Korea. I think they are manufactured right there also.

Pretty amazing events transpired over there at the corner of Derry and Airport Roads over the years. Also, next time you are driving up the 400 North past Perry Sound, you will notice the road names- named after parts of that Arrow history (see if you can figure out why;). Great book to read is Shu...

ATR release indicates an observer. Wonder if there was some unknown inter-personal dynamics at play that could help explain why 2 pilots could screw it up so badly.
