Re: Zee closed
Flyinhigh you really are high on something if you are so gullible to believe that FA is an all around fantastic company. You just wait, after you have been there for some time as a pilot you will see that they don't backup or support their pilots. They have a long history of letting go pilots that h...

Re: Why Speculating on Crashes is a Good Thing
Speculate too much without facts or knowledge and you, ASS U ME too much. You mostly make an ass out of yourself, but you probably don't care about that or the people affected by it because its just all sport to you. I believe its ok to suggest possible scenarios in the speculation, but not ok to po...

Re: Crash pilot appeals remaining conviction
Bottom line is that if you do something wrong you should take the rap for it. Question: if you were hiring a pilot, which would you prefer: [1] Pilot who did something stupid causing a crash, and admits to the mistake. or [2] Pilot who did something stupid causing a crash and doesn't take any respo...

Re: Turbo - prop/fan/jet ?
You're right. There still does seem to be a perception that jets are held in higher regard than turboprops. From a pilots perspective once you've flown a jet its not a big deal anymore. Its all about your experience and what you perceive. I do think its the non pilot public that pushes the jet onto ...

Re: DOC just couldn't stop
Deconstruct and evaluate, yes. Thats exactly what needs to be done. You can put yourself in the other pilots shoes without hurting anything or anyone when details of an accident are shared. Doesn't mean you should make it personal and a big old dickswinging event which is what so often happens in th...

Re: DOC just couldn't stop
The comments here are still more restrained than I've seen before about accidents. Too many are more interested in second guessing the pilots than just learning something about what happened and how to avoid it again. Try and put yourself in their shoes before you beat them up.

Re: hiring at Jazz!!!
if porter placed their orders before jazz and promised delivery before jazz then it is relevant, thats the point It doesn't matter when the order was placed. The airlines set the schedule for delivery, if Porter order ordered 2 last year for delivery in June next year thats when they get them. If J...
