I served for 20 years in the forces and retired ten years ago. If you have your licence why go military unless you plan on staying your entire life? Military A/C do not have C of A. This could affect your currency with having your licence, but I'm not sure. Think long and hard about this. Read close...

Dale Crane (producer of the ASA test guides) does not have access to the question bank at the FAA. Those test guides were made from simply asking the mechanics what questions they were asked after they'd written the tests. Nothing fancy, but effective.

Just got my A & P Licence in the states two weeks ago. Have the latest FARs in front of me. Please refer to the following regarding IA. Wouldn't mind referring anyone to the school where I picked mine up. Let me know. Lots of Canadian techs are getting their A & P. Cost outlay but worth it. FAR 65.9...

Very good point Cranium about the experience and training requirements of the States. I don't at all understand it and was told while in the States that young guys attempting the tests and the practical exam immediately upon qualifying time wise have a difficult time and often fail.
