Congratulations to Porter on the continued expansion.
What is the benefit for the company by eliminating the bond/agreement after it has been signed?

Re: Someone please tell me this is a joke....
If you don't like it, don't apply... I'd kill for $36,000 a year. If you have a job, be happy you do and stop whining about pay. I am surprised you haven't had a million people come down your throat for saying that! Your response is one of the primary reasons for problems in our industry. +1 "I'd k...

Re: Applying online for pilot position
When I first applied to the pilot position last year, I remember answering a bunch of questions about flight times, and type of experience, etc. Now when I log in to update my application, I can change certain items on my profile, upload new documents, etc, but I can't update the information from wh...

Re: AC is hiring 51 pilots apparently
I have a feeling they may have changed that auto-reply email sometime last week. I think candidates who submitted their application earlier in the week got the email asking for additional information, and those who submitted their application later did not. I submitted mine today, and did not receiv...

Re: ICAO TC FAA to JAA license
Honestly, I would spend the money to go to Bristol ground school. They are incredibly good at what they do and considering how vast the topics are, having someone to narrow it down and then drill that information into you is a life saver. When I went there I believe it was around 2500 GBP. I split ...

Re: Pet Peeves
Pilots who fly crappy, unstable approaches struggling to get the gear and flaps out in time solely because they insisted on flying the plane at the highest speed possible until the last moment possible. Congratulations, you landed 2.5 seconds earlier! You're still a shi**y pilot.

Air Partners - Again?
What is going on there that they need to re-post this same ad many times a year?
I've read the posts on here about the "downsides", but where are all of the pilots going? Are they being fired, or quitting shortly after they arrive?

Re: Where should I apply to start working ramp?
What you need to do is find a flying job as quickly as possible. Never stop road-tripping, visiting CPs, and applying for jobs until you've found one. In the meantime, hedge your bets and find a job on the ground that you can reasonably believe will lead to a pilot seat at some time if the future. D...

Re: Lost Plane near YTH ~ YOH
I'm glad everything worked out, but this guy is extremely lucky! Anyone know how he was located? It would also be interesting to know how long he was in the air for and how much fuel he had in the tanks when he departed YQD. He may not have been adept with map reading, but he obviously practiced his...

Re: Jazz Ratification Vote.
What conditions must be met in order to receive a per diem at Jazz? ie Any calendar day where you complete a flying sector? 4 hours of duty, and you'll get a perdiem, even if it's a single-day pairing. How much you get will depend on how long your duty period is, and checkin/checkout times. Example...

Not greasy if you're on a layover. Go for it.
