What we were suggesting is that you finish your training on floats...ie:get some of your commercial time on a float plane...which would give you a bit of a jump start if you want to work on floats in the future. Luck, and a lot of "polite" pestering...it's a fine line. A good resume helps too...they assume you can fly, you got the licence, now what ELSE can you do for them that will make it worth their while to hire you. Customer service, any trade skills, outgoing, enthusiastic (not just another quiet pilot)

My first night of a new job flying out of a reserve in N.Man....another pilot woke me up to show me, they were fantastic!! Better than any I'd seen in Ontario.
