It's great to hear Brandon is getting an ILS, long overdue. Now if they could only get a regular schedule service to YYZ and Calgary.

I have a PPL and about 130 hrs and the biggest problem is cost. I am not going for my CPL and prefer to be a weekend flyer. Could we not have planes that burn less fuel ? I mean with the increase in technology you would think we could build a plane that runs on 3-4 gallons per hour.

There are many factors, but I think people get complacent. Went for a check ride at a flight school recently so I could rent from them and I was shocked how little the instructors knew.
