Re: Swoop Blacklist

You need to beat them at their own game. Get a majority of the pilots to put a massive short on the company stock, then all sell their ESP and resign "en masse". Then using the ESP and short money start a completely pilot owned airline to take the market share WestJet had to give up when most of the...

Re: What does a pilot look like?

"You don't really look like a pilot" I can't believe someone would be stupid enough to say something like that in this day and age. Sounds like a complaint to the Humane Rights Commission or a lawsuit against the company. Or at the least a "People That Don't Look Like Pilots Lives Matter" protest he...

Toronto Center Sector Maps ?

Anyone know a way to obtain current Toronto Center/Terminal sector charts ? The charts that show actual ATC sector boundaries on them ?

Similar to what is posted on the canairradio website, but up to date.

http://www.canairradio.com/maps.html

Thanks for any info.

Re: Any Conflicting Traffic Please Advise

I certainly didn't see anything weather wise but that doesn't mean it wasn't there. ATC was obviously unable to clear them for a deviation - busy day on the half tracks - but were pointing them out to the other aircraft in the vicinity. Looking at some other weather archives there is some precipita...

Re: Any Conflicting Traffic Please Advise

radio calls during a contigency weather deviation procedure Looking at the SIGWX charts from the 25th I don't see any depiction of forecasted convective activity on WS4's route. Presumably this happened over the North Atlantic where there usually aren't many thunderstorms up around 58N. What is it ...

Enerjet Twin Otter ?

Looks like Enerjet no longer has any Boeing's listed on the Canadian register. The only airplane that shows up is a Twin Otter, C-GKTM, registered since June 1st. Are they using it, or maybe just a sub lease to someone else ? Is the Boeing operation done ? Mark: C-GKTM Common Name: Dehavilland Model...

Re: Canada Jetlines CEO replaced

thought they were to be up and running two summers ago if my memory is correct. When they first went to the media back in November 2013 they said the plan was to have 2 Airbuses flying by the fall of 2014 and planned to have 16 by 2017. Probably why he is no longer there ? Although to his credit he...

What a bunch of absolute nonsense this new "via SID/STAR" terminology is. I give it less than 3 months before they get rid of it. What idiotic brain trust in ICAO/Nav Canada came up with this crap ? They should ALL be fired !

What's the status of Enerjet these days? According to Flightradar24 their 1 and only Boeing 737-700, C-GDEJ, returned from the Europe program on October 13, 2016. Then operated Calgary up to Fort MacKay and back on October 17, and has not been seen flying since then. So has it really been sitting i...

Re: Jazz lands YAM with plows on runway

I fly scheduled ops to many airports in Canada, I've never flown to YAM. In my experience at other airports when the Tower closes communications are taken over by the local or a remote FSS. has this always been the case at YAM, that when the Tower closes you are on your own ? Are there any other air...
