Re: License conversion question

Hi, There's alternative to conversion. If you won't be here for good, do foreign license validation. Saving money and time. It's usually good for 1year and no tests. However be acquainted with Canadian Law and Regulations though. Also if you fly north and bush, it's whole lot a different flying. Iss...

Re: Instructor vs Student?

You, as instructor should have good overall knowledge of Aviation, but it's impossible to know everything. Re: That feeling in stomach during Turbulence

Hey CanIfly Everyone has at least one or two fears that they need to overcome. Likewise, everyone has at least something they are really good at. No one is ever same and thus progress can vary. Difference between people who become pilot or not is whether they continued or not when they hit the wall....

Re: Student Errors

One more thing to add, feed back from recent flight tests,
On Diversion, don't forget to reset HI before getting to head setting point.
Typically by the time when you get to Diversion exercise, HI is way off for sure.

Re: Student Errors

I spend Ex5 probably double the time that of standard. Like somebody said, solid foundation makes later exercise lot easier. When telling student to lookout side, not just tell'em to lookout side but emphasize to relate the cowling/dash and horizon. Don't get bothered to repeat this, student tend to...

Re: Boundary Bay flight schools

CFC was the school I would recommend if it was the same school before. But now it has become something unrecognizable because of the new ownership. Like some of them already mentioned, most of the good old instructors left. Inconsistency in school policy, miss treating instructors, serious safety is...
