Hey Guys, I was wondering if anyone had any info on the technical exam for Encore is like? Is it based on the AIM, and CAP GEN? I read the other threat about it, but there wasn't much info. Re: Coming to Canada

For a canadian pilot to make it to a major airline in canada is a very big accomplishment. We don't have the luxury like you guys have in europe to go from 200 hrs to an FO on a 320. I'm sure you are qualified to fly here but the airlines/government will not sponsor/grant you a work visa when there ...

Re: Delta Air Lines, Alaska Airlines push for iPads

I think it's a great idea to have the iPads in the cockpit. I was speaking with 2 gentlemen who are captains at transat and the newly made skyregional and they were saying that once tc approves it which should be in be summer that transat will only have it in the 330's because it requires satcomm an...

Re: Enbridge Pipelines Job Posting

the reason why they want 5000 hours for a twin piston is because they already have a pilot for the job but they still need to post it, so for the job add they say you need 5000 hours. no one who applied via avcanada will get a call.

Re: Central Mountain Air

I'm pretty sure that having you're ATPL's written is the same as having just an Iatra, in fact from pilots I have spoken to, ATPL's are better to have because they are harder and, there is much more material to know for ATPL than there is for Iatra. I have alot of buddies flying 1900's with ATPL's w...
