I haven't had alot of exposure to glass and my question is, what will glass do to turn arround times. I have had as little as 3 minutes on the ground from landing to t/o and yes I shut down both. In watching glass a/c start and taxi it seems alot of time is needed to initialize glass. But now I real...

It still appears from the comments here that some people view this as an emergency decent situation. It is not. That is clearly defined in the POH. To depressurize is required, to a lower diff, to dump cabin NO. To put on o2 masks maybe prudent but not required. What a bungled mess. Why do people ma...

If the oil industry gets hit with a lack of confidence in it's future and stability I would venture to say that 1/2 of the aviation jobs in western canada would be gone. zip, finished. All those cushy corporate jobs, toast. Oil is what is driving the economy and directly related to hundreds of pilot...

CC. There is a saying that I am sure you are familiar with. Actions speak louder than words. While I appreciate your ferver, I also am turned off by the constant spouting of scripture when not asked. You need to remember one catches more flies with honey than vinegar. Yes I am a christian but I try ...

Hey niss, I just reread my post and I never said anything about Christianity having clean hands. I just said that if you are as tollerant as you boast you are, then leave us celebrate christmas they way we chose to. If you are not a Christian, it's not your holiday. I can't undo what happened thousa...

Isn't it amazing that those of us who celebrate Christmas for it true meaning for the most part chose to remain silent and let the world dictate how it's done. Christmas trees, lights, extensive gift giving, santa claus, elves, office christmas parties have nothing to do with the meaning of Christma...

If my memory serves me correctly in reverse the maximum N1 you can get on the otter is 86 %. Thus the gov is always sensing an underspeed and positioning the pilot valve (prop gov) in the open position. This leaves control of blade angle at the discretion of the pilot at all times while in beta and ...

I think it may also be the fact that if they showed Vancouver and pheonix at 9pm (6 Vancouver time) in To who would watch. Just like us watching TO and Buf at 3 in the afternoon. I know I dont. They just happen to have several million more people in that neck of the woods that we do here. Just life.
