Had an engine failure last year...P&W says it was due to overtemping...this was of course over a long period of time but it goes to show if you abuse it you lose it.

Apparently there is some formula out there to determine if your actual time logged is reasonable when compared to your total time. I've never come across it but heard some employers use this when looking at resumes. Now, take flying in the Arctic during the dead of winter....even if its "VFR" you're...

One other thing...don't see a psychiatrist they seem too keen on solving problems with meds. A psychologist is more inclined to sit back and listen. They'll help you find a solution to your problems and not try masking them with drugs. And of course don't talk about it on your next medical...they're...

From what I understand there is doctor/patient confidentiality...so if you see a doctor other than your aviation doc they can't report you. I got this straight from a doctor whose husband is a pilot. Now if you were to ask for stress leave then I'd be concerned. So go ahead, talk to someone....
