Best thing to do, go to ALTITUDE and FIGURE it out!!! Simulate your emerg/prec approaches there and try to fail the engine in NORMAL operation, if it isnt predictable or doesnt conform to the standard, pull the carb and "repair" it till it works properly, make sure all other variables are ok, valve...
