Re: Air Canada Selects Air Georgian
The rate up to 90 hours/month is 70$ per hour. Time and a half starts at 90 hrs. The minimum monthly guarantee is 70 hours. And yes, salary is based on 70 hrs/month which is the minimum pay cheque...

Re: Air Canada Selects Air Georgian
Fact: At Air Georgian base salary for the captian postion on the CRJ pays 72,000/year. This is based on 70 hr/month with a 16 day/month sched. Projected flight hours per month is 85, so if you do the math, there is a potential to have a pretty decent paycheque given today's pay scales in aviation. F...

Re: 4 fatal - crash nw of Waterloo ON Aug 24 2012
If you've had any CRM training yet, you wil start to realize where the chain of events to this unfortunate accident started. Look at the small details that we already know. Flat, nonrecoverable spin. Vertical trajectory......look at the media pictures. It's obvious. Why did our pilot in question go ...

Shiny says....and I would say that advanced pilots are often lacking substantially in some of the regards.
I would ask you to define "Advanced"

Re: 4 fatal - crash nw of Waterloo ON Aug 24 2012
Why was this guy flying around in the flight center's practice area when the flight itinerary he submitted in the rental agreement was 40nm (at the very least) east of the crash site? Very regretable accident. And probably very preventable as well. With the training he had, he should have known bett...

I guess if you weren't invited to be a part of it, it's simply none of your freakin business. Now go try to spread sh*@ about someone else for awhile, and leave us alone, and keep your 10th party point of view to yourself.

Re: Cargojet flying on behalf of Amerijet?
So if CargoJet ever goes on strike for better working conditions no one will mind if AmeriJet flies the freight? They went on strike after trying to negotiate minimal improvements. The strike doesn't mean much if the freight is still moving. My bet, the type of pilots crossing the picket lines at A...

Re: Cargojet flying on behalf of Amerijet?
The CJ pilots are making money on the backs of their struck brothers that are fighting for a fair wage and working conditions . So then, JazzJetDriver , why aren't you down in the hot Miami sun picketing with your 'brothers'? I'm positive that they would do the same for you......hey, maybe y...
