Re: Regional 1
One of the better places I have worked. Treated fairly, paid well and great bosses. As mentioned above, don't apply if your not willing to go overseas. If you want to work with a good bunch of people and travel lots then R1 would be a good fit.

Re: Best Bear gun?
It has been proven that Bear Spray is far more affective than a firearm when protecting yourself from a charging bear. The question is not one of marksmanship or clear thinking in the face of a growling bear, for even a skilled marksman with steady nerves may have a slim chance of deterring a bear a...

Re: Off-strip Flying
If you are heading up around Yellowknife try Summit Air. They do off-strip work. CP is a great guy and the training is good. Tindi and Arctic Sunwest might also be an option for you. Anyway good luck, hope you find what your looking for.

Re: Multi tools
I have been using a Gerber Multi Tool....always liked the leatherman but the Gerber is more compact. I would recommend the medium sized 400 model rather than the 600 which is a little to bulky.

Hey Beech200 guy,
The bag you have posted in the link above will definitely fit, I've seen a few guys with them.

Re: Any idea where to find a first Pilot job in Canada?
Sending out hundreds of resumes with no response can be really frustrating I know. From my experiences I would recommend going to Mark's Work Warehouse, buying some Cartharts and a pair of work of gloves and head north to Yellowknife. If you show interest and are willing to work hard there should be...

Career Change - wheels to floats
Hi all, I have been entertaining the though of changing career paths and pursuing floats. I have been flying for twelve plus years and have over 4000tt, mostly pic, on turbine aircraft over 12500lbs. Being from a 704/705 world my ultimate goal if I where to make the change would be a structured comp...
