Skynorth air
Can anyone shed light on the Skynorth ads. A few months ago they posted they wanted 500 multi pic for copilots. Ad is now removed and they now post they want “500-1000 hours total time( must be in this range)”.

Re: High Turnover AME positions posted…
Sometimes it does and sometimes it means they haven’t really gotten any good candidates so they keep posting every 4-6 months in hopes of getting better applicants.

Re: 36 years old and 1100 hours
“ The less the CP feels he will be running the "pilot daycare" the better! Lol. Not my line, that came from the old grouchy CP in Edmonton at my first job.”
Sounds like we had the same cp

Re: What happens to a Pilot in Case of an accident
Most guys I know have kept flying though most moved companies and could explain that they learned from it. I know a guy that flew into a power line who kept his job. He clearly learned from the experience and wasn’t about to do it again. I know a high time captain who geared up on the runway and kep...

Re: King Air at Gillam, MB
Three major possibilities for a dual failure... 1.)mechanical issues with both engines at the same time (Highly unlikely) 2.) Fuel contamination 3.)Too much Air in the tanks. To be fair to my fellow aviators, I’d be betting on #2. Correct that it doesn’t look good for a RFP bid.. 4th possibility is...

Copilot app
I recently found out that the copilot app is no longer available. What are people using for flight planning beside fore flight. I don’t want to pay monthly and need something that will mostly work offline after the initial set up.

Re: Medevac pilot job description
Digits is right. Way to many variables. One or two medics? Medics or nurses? If you work for a company that is a basic provider your going to have to do a lot more of the going along to nursing stations to pick up patients and help carry stretchers and bags. If you stay with the plane then you get t...

Re: Expecting a baby but want to be a pilot
While it is doable, I think people are doing a you a disservice to not point out the difficulties. Getting a commercial license is difficult for anyone one and doing it on little sleep is even harder And possibly dangerous. (Yes fatigue kills as can pregnancy brain). If you make it through flight sc...
