Re: Exit Polls Showing Over 90% Strike Mandate Support

http://www.bbc.com/news/business-44021431 Great Comparison, I definitely see the similarity as AirFrance and WestJet are in very similar financial shape. Love the fear mongers on here. Fantasies of “The company liquidating all assesets and closing the doors because of a pilot strike”, to “A pilot S...

Re: Strike vote

This is not accurate. In a situation like this where WJ is so far behind the industry standard and so consistently profitable, and the company has conducted themselves in such bad faith, arbitration could very well favour the pilot group. PROC_HDG Exactly what is the proof that WJ is far behind ind...

Socata TBM

Hey There,

I'm looking to get an contact with any TBM current or former owners out there. Looking for the good and the bad, true operating costs per hour etc. If you had to do it again would buy the TBM or op for something different. Thanks.

And This “high-performance aeroplane” “high-performance aeroplane”, with respect to a rating, means (a) an aeroplane that is specified in the minimum flight crew document as requiring only one pilot and that has a maximum speed (Vne) of 250 KIAS or greater or a stall speed (Vso) of 80 KIAS or greate...

Dos the PA-32R-301 fall under "SMEL"?

Hey Guys, It's been a long time since I have flown privately for fun. I currently fly for an airline so I am current. I've tried to get a hold of the good folks at transport and have got nothing but answering machines and email addresses. While I wait to hear from them, I'll ask here. I have access ...

Re: Overdue Cargo Airplane Bound for CYXS

Most of the time that run "bulks out" in the morning on its way up, so there isn't anywhere for the cargo to shift. They use good cargo nets, and the planes are maintained well. DG is rare and when it is on board it's usually small amount's of dry ice keeping "medical stuff" cool.

Heard a few rumors in regards to Porter's future lately (being sold/shopped around, some big announcement coming out in the fall, managers only meeting at Porter were they had to sign a non-disclosure agreement). For the peeps at Porter, Do you think the current "gong show" at city hall will have any bearing on City Council's decision for Jets at YTZ. ie: a delay to their decision, change in outcome of their decision. If Ford is no longer the mayor do they still have their "pull" with city council? Just wond...

Can anyone in the know confirm or deny the rumor that the whole C-series order is conditional on the Airport expansion being approved/ completed at City Center Airport in Toronto? It's all in the press release bud, no need to be in the "know". It is a conditional order based on the ability to fly j...

What if they grooved the RWY at YTZ, would that not help the performance?
