Re: Degrading vision
Thanks for all the info everybody. I have been to an ophthalmologist /optometrist (can't remember the damn difference) and they tell me that there's nothing wrong. And I'm skeptical about macular degeneration. My grandfather has that and from what he describes and from what I have read, it probably ...

Oh boy, that's a good one.I was gunna say, a picture of that vintage would require one to have a bush rating.

Re: Degrading vision
20/200 is most definitely not 'good bye medical' .. Well this definitely makes me feel better. Maybe I'm reading the requirements wrong though, because as I interpret them, it says that 20/200 is the cut-off point. 1.35 The applicant shall be required to have a distant visual acuity of not less tha...

Degrading vision
Hey guys, I just wanted to ask if anybody else has had a similar problem to mine. The eyesight in my right eye seems to be getting worse and worse over a short period of time. About 2 years ago, my right eye was 20/30, now it's become 20/80 (maybe lower, I haven't had an eye exam since November). My...

Re: Integrated or Separate?
Make your choice for you, not for your future employers. Trust me, I'm doing just that. I am also considering just having a degree in science (likely to major in Physics) and doing my training during the summer so I might be able to average more than 4 flights per month. I've learned that this coas...

Re: Integrated or Separate?
I would recommend splitting them up into paragraphs Duly noted. So just for my own knowledge, how do people hiring pilots respond to the fact that you have a degree? Does it really matter at all what type of degree it is or is it just the fact that you slugged it out for 4 years to earn it is what ...

Re: Integrated or Separate?
Well that's the thing. The program I'm in right now doesn't give some aviation diploma, it actually does give a full fledged business administration degree.

Integrated or Separate?
Hey everyone, I know for a fact that this question has been asked tons of times before me, however I have a few more details that I would like to have anyone's input on. So here goes: I'm currently a student in the University of the Fraser Valley's and Coastal Pacific Aviation's 4 year BBA degree pr...
