Re: Southwest has lost its mind.
They need to have seat sizers in the boarding lounge the same way there are bag sizers, with gate agents scoping out fatties the same way they do with oversized carry-on. "Excuse me ma'am, you'll need to sit in the seat sizer". If their disgusting lard ass spills over outside the sizer: "I'm sorry m...

Sunwing Cadet Program
http://m.therecord.com/news-story/7156230-uw-grads-take-to-the-skies-with-sunwing Don't get me wrong, at 250 hours, I would have killed for an opportunity like this. However, the flight deck should be two experienced professionals working together, not an on-the-job training, teacher-student envirm...

Are there many accidents/incidents where props went through the fuselage? I can't find many recently.
I guess bombardier are not done with this story.

Rumor has it that two dash captains just stabbed every other pilot that works there in the back. Anybody know more? Quite the opposite. One Dash captain had the courage to stand up to management when they tried to spring a $12,000 bond after he and three others (all internal and already typed) were...

The most embarrassing plane pooping story ever.
http://jalopnik.com/this-is-the-most-embarrassing-plane-pooping-story-ever-1456846301 Just over halfway through the flight, all the coffee in my stomach feels like it's percolating its way down into my lower intestine. I hunker down and try and focus on other things. What feels like an hour, but pro...

Anyone heard from Flair yet?
Hey, just wondering if anyone has been called for an interview with Flair yet. I got a call on Tuesday with some preliminary questions (some very odd), and then they said they would be calling for interview invites before the weekend. Has anyone heard anything?

Get rid of the airport manager, the consultants and regretfully the ILS. You can't afford the upkeep on any of them. Get a WAAS GPS approach to replace the ILS, and it won't take much to find a replacement for the airport manager, by the sounds of it. It looks like this is already the case. The RNA...

Yes, this is a shameless plug, however METRO newspaper has put on a competition where the applicant with the most votes will receive a trip into space on board Space Exploration Curacao's "Lynx" spacecraft - slated for launch 2013-2014. The following is my little sob story on the application: "Anyon...

It had been a couple years since I had flown a light single, and I was beginning to miss it. I decided recently to get checked out at one of the local FTUs to rent a 172. The instructor was a very green Class IV, who had his own little box, where if anything was done outside of his box, it was consi...

I do not remeber when ( about 20 years ago), I do not remember the airline, but there was a passenger in a hotel bar, watching 3 guy's drinking in the bar( I guess for entertainment) there were large amounts of alcohol consumed. ya, the entire concept of "complex" is undefined. constant speed, retractable with flaps as defined by TC. You will not need to know these for an INRAT. This is the basic approach ban (no ops spec) for commercial ops. The INRAT covers only GA approach bans (RVR). Good luck tomorrow.
