Re: Searching for Piper Pacer

Hello,
I haven't seen too many pacers up for grabs.
I found a listing for a tri-pacer though.

Re: Slick magneto impulse coupling

I worked at a flight school with the same engine type and yes the newer mags were an issue. We were filing SDRs every time it happened. Wrote off a few engines because the rivet fell into the accessory case.

Re: Looking for part time piston AME Cornwall area.

Good Morning, I am an AME from the Barrie area with lots of piston engine experience. Mostly Piper singles and twins. I know the distance might be a concern but I have done work in Smith Falls, Blind River and Sault Ste Marie. I don't mind the travel. Let me know what you are looking for. 705-816-24...

Re: Aircraft Maintenance Type Courses

There are no mandatory type courses on M1 fixed-wing, but if you are signing anything out under an AMO you need on-type training for ACA. Could be in the form of an approved in-house training program. Example: I held an ACA for a Zlin 242 that belonged to an FTU. If I do an annual inspection to a pr...

Re: AIRCRAFT MAINTENANCE IN GORE BAY, ONTARIO

Absolutely. That's the unfortunate dose of reality the aviation industry is facing. The airlines aren't the only ones feeling the pinch. It's a trickle down effect really. There's plenty of work out there for young, but experienced AME's. Location is everything. As far as avionics, everything is gett...

AIRCRAFT MAINTENANCE IN GORE BAY, ONTARIO

Questions regarding aircraft maintenance/aircraft movements in Gore Bay. These questions are geared toward private owners and flight schools/clubs. 1. Who flies into Gore Bay on a regular basis? 2. Who flies into Gore Bay en route to another destination or to perform airwork? (i.e Oshkosh, cross-cou...

AME Looking for Extra Work

Good Day, I am an AME looking to take on some extra work. I currently live in Sault Ste Marie, Ontario. I am willing to travel within Ontario for now, but would be interested in traveling elsewhere if required. My experience includes M1 rated fixed-wing aircraft (single/twin piston engine Cessna, Pi...

Re: Any opportunity of working on lycoming engines would be appreciated.

It was more a rhetorical question then to actually give me an answer but you would notice your values not opening as far or for as long. Cam lobes often look like a teardrop in shape so infact they be getting more smooth. Yes the rocker values are where I would start. So the moral of the story is yo...
