180 J with 0470R on cap floats . 23.5-2300 136mph fastest on the coast .

i bet multi oil is being used .....
i would change oil to straight weight and also de - sludge the cylinders as the leakage is most likely the rings .

i bet multi oil is being used .....
i would change oil to straight weight and also de - sludge the cylinders as the leakage is most likely the rings .

As we all know , or most do . flying marginal vfr is very hard . looking at very localized weather 2 1/2 mile and 1400 isnt terrible by any stretch in a helicopter. But in a S76 which is actually a IFR platform with limited visibility for pilot outside reference marginal VFR would be very challengin...

can you say R&D money? It has some merit . I think you could remove 1200-1400 lbs from a beaver . Install batteries and engine 2000lbs and fly for 2.5 hours on battery ,. maybe in a few years . The biggest hurdle will be water based charging systems . Battery /range with reserves. but what do i ...
