Interestingly enough, even though Air North " Chose not to optimize their assets to generate best returns for their shareholders", they remained profitable in 2012. For a small company in a market of reckless overcapacity, that speaks volumes to the local support.

I'd say its a little early to hang these guys. You want those switches off before extending the manual trim wheel handle. The electric trim doesn't care if your hand or knee is in the way. If they departed with both trim switches off and didn't figure it out, then ya, they screwed up.

The 737 Classic series (3-4-5) can be operated in Combi configuration like the one seen with Alaska Airlines. The difference between the 200 series and the Classic is the moveable bulkhead in the 200's. The Classic has a fixed bulkhead. I think this due to the fire suppression requirements on newer ...

Exiting the runway onto a narrow taxiway is going to restrict Safety Vehicles ability to access the aircraft for fire fighting. A good example would be PWA's 737 in Calgary in March of 1984.
