Mrbobmarly111 wrote: Thu Oct 11, 2018 11:08 am Realistic pay is 900$ 1 cheque and 850$ 2nd cheque a month not including perdiems. That is fact. So around 1800-1900$ monthly. Once you get out of reserve you can expect an extra 800-1100$ a month in perdiems with a full month of flying.

Jesus. How is it possible to live off of that?

Re: The Air Canada OTS thread

What's the lowest (confirmed) experience level that has recently gone to AC. And what was it that got them an interview OTS. This is quite the enigma. There has to be some logic. How does 2700 hours/705 right seat time get you a phone call?

Not to hijack the thread, but will there be an opportunity for outsiders to apply online anytime soon?

Re: Why is Flair so Hated?

Can airlines like Jazz even entertain DEC job advertisements with unions in place? What do unions think of this? No dog in this fight...curious where airlines/unions stand on the possibility of, at some point going the DEC route.

Re: Sunwing hiring

Do foreign deployments go relatively junior? Or would this be a perk of being a senior pilot wanting to bid something different and new?

Re: Sunwing fleet and pilot rosters for the 2015/2015 season

Gilles,

What is the difference between Sunwing wet leases and the wet lease Transat has with Czech TVS? I don't want to hear "well that's only a couple aircraft". Numbers are irrelevant at this point now that Transat is doing the same thing. So should this thread.

And who gets into this college? The Seneca/Sault chaps? Just because you are book smart and can pass a CPL flight test, doesn't m...

What is this one?? It's almost due west of YPL.

51° 23' 5.85", -91° 9' 38.79" Cut and paste that into google, then it should map it (not good at computers)

Anyone know??

lol nice one Doc. I'm surprised they don't have their pilots sporting nice jackets with stripes on the cuffs and the neat pilot hats too! Have to look dapper and fit the profile with PC-12 requirements like that, right? Ok I'm shutting up. :D

I really enjoyed how all this time you needed an ATPL to fly a single-engine ORNGE aircraft. But now you don't? lol

Re: 2012 Porter FO Reqt's?

That's nice. Having the "written" is like saying your MBA is from Ornge! Why haven't you got the actual license? Go get it. 2800 hours? You should have the licence. It's a "dog eat dog" world out there. They may well look poorly on you if you're not qualified for a position you apply for? It brings...

2012 Porter FO Reqt's?

What does Porter currently want for FO's?

I have about 2800 hours...ATPL's written, multi turbine FO etc etc. I want to apply but not if they are going to trash my resume because I am short what they need. Any updated info? Thanks.
