The Cool One, I truly hope you are trolling. If not, I find your ignorance somewhat unbelievable.
Pelmet posted an incident with essentially no comment. You on the other hand, not so much.

Re: FlightPath Challenger Post
As a general rule corporate guys don't move much, charter companies is another story. Most pilots use charter companies as time builder/stepping stone. Corporate jobs usually become available from a retirement. If you are an employee of FP and paid by FP then I have bad information. To the original ...

Re: FlightPath Challenger Post
I agree. Corporate aviation, management companies and charter flying are a very small world. Few people will publicly say much about owners or operations. It's in your best interest to find out as much as you can, but you won't find much on a public forum. There are pilots that finish their career w...

Re: FlightPath Challenger Post
If I am hired, am I an employee of FlightPath or the owner? Who pays me, the company or the owner? If the owner is slow to pay me, will FlighPath ensure that I am paid or am I on my own because I am an employee of the owner? If I am not mistaken, and I could be, this will be the second or third time...

Re: FlightPath Challenger Post
I would ask the experience level of the previously employeed pilots, how long they were on the aircraft, why they left and where they went?

Re: Morning Star B757 ad
Thanks for the replies. I took a look at their agreement that I found online. It appears to be an excellent job, but one that won't work for me. It's not worth me leaving my current job for.

Morning Star B757 ad
I am interested in the Morningstar job ad. I realize this ad is for an FO position and that Morningstar is not looking for any direct entry captains. I also understand, and rightfully so, that Morningstar prefers to promote from within. My question is, what is the expected upgrade time to the left s...

Re: Westwind
Many years ago I had lunch with a retired accident investigator. I asked how he liked working for the the NTSB. His respones was, "I didn't work for the NTSB, I worked for IACO." He explained to me that when an accident happens 'teams' of investigators are sent to investigate the accident. Engine ma...

CAE 737 sim instructor
Anyone on here have any info re working as a part time sim instructor at CAE? The ad inerests me, and I do plan on contacting the recruiter but am looking for any extra info I can get. I don't have a 737 type and obviously no time on type. I do have 18 years as a Cpt on business jets. I know, that a...

Re: Legal Marijuana
I think some people are confusing TC's stance. It is the SAME as their position on alcohol. You can not operate under the influence of alcohol or marijuana. Impairment is not the issue, according to the CARs anyways. You can not have alcohol in your system or marijuana, impaired or not. The discussi...

Wasaya Dash 8 Capt
I have a few questions for anyone in the know. Is Wasaya a long term career company? Will they be around in 10 years? What is the salary for a dec captain on the Dash?
Anything else anyone wants to add, feel free.
Thanks

Re: TBM Gear collapse on take off
Some of you have renewed my faith in Canadian aviation. I am shocked that a pilot doesn't deice/antice, stalls on takeoff and some people are concerned about the effects of an 8 kt tailwind. PDW, if you beleive the airplane was not yet stalled....what do you think of the pilot's corrective action to...

Re: TBM Gear collapse on take off
Oh, what the hell...I'll bite. "Honkin tail wind component on take off". I have not admittedly read anything other than what is posted in this thread, but I am willing to say that if he deiced/anticed properly the tail wind component would be not be a factor. Are you suggesting the tail wind was mor...
Re: DAC
The training bond there should make any pilot think twice about applying, It isn't a place I would personally want to work.
I just wasn't sure about the statement, "DAC is done. Textron repo'd their airplanes".

Wayne was one of the more conservative pilots I've worked with. He had experience in far more challenging areas and conditions prior to this accident.

DHC, I'm in a very similar situation. I'm getting tired of no schedule, empty promises and missing everything. After 21 years in the air I think I need a change. Can we get an update on your yours?

I was hoping to get a resume in for this job posting but...missed the cut off. I'm in need of a schedule in my life! I may still send them a resume anyways.
