Hey I received your PM.
Have you tried out the practice tests on the websites?
I'm sure you already have, but here is the link anyways: http://www.bcit.ca/tlc/pretest/samples.shtml
Best of luck~

The Best Thing To Do When Considering a Pilot License
A FAM Flight (Familiarization Flight) is essentially a taste of being a pilot. It is a discounted flight lesson/experience that lasts for about 30 minutes to 1 hour. Before you get your flight training at a flight school, it is important that you get a taste of the real thing. And nowadays, flight s...

Re: BCIT Airline and Flight Operations : Commercial Pilot
Hey Big Piston, By job ready, I mainly meant that it is designed specifically to graduate students completely and ready and qualified for pilot employment. It is structured so that you graduate with a Private Pilot Licence (PPL), Commercial Pilot Licence (CPL), Multi Engine Rating, Instrument Flight...

Re: BCIT Airline and Flight Operations : Commercial Pilot
I graduated from this program 4 years ago and I loved it. Although I agree that the ideal route is to get a degree at the best university you can studying what you want (not necessarily aviation) and getting your pilot licensing at a flight school. I can't say for other aviation diplomas but BCIT's ...

Re: Looking to change careers.
It's funny how as students/prospective students we imagine that a younger age make it easier for us to be hired. If you're ~40 years old, it's common for you to think that the younger 20-30 year old applicants will stand a better chance than you do. But if you look at it from an employer's point of ...

Re: Prozak Pilot may fly again
They may be allowed to fly, but think of the passengers. Would you feel comfortable putting your child or your mother on a plane if you knew the pilot was being treated for depression?

Re: Advice on resuming my PPL...
I suggest you purchase a recommended flight simulator during your pilot training. Simulators are a great tool when you actually start taking lessons, especially when just starting out. It is difficult to book lessons/flights every single day when training at a flight school. Simulators will allow yo...

Re: PRIVATE PILOT LICENCE WRITTEN
Sorry to hear that you didn't pass the exam on your first try.
No worries though, many people are unable to get it in one try.
I agree with bverwegen...study to become an expert on the material, and not mainly for the sake of passing and getting your license.

I suggest video resumes. Send them a video about yourself and your training, and it allows them to
see you on a more personal level and stands you out from the crowd of other applicants.
