A sad day indeed....I always enjoyed flying down to Dunnville...it made me feel connected to the past....I'll miss the experience...thanks to those who flew the beautiful vintage aircraft in on that last final day.

The next time I want to smugly roll my eyes about the "media" and aviation coverage, I will remember that the "media" exposed the Ornge scandal.....once in a blue moon, the "media" gets it right.

Be careful what you wish for.....

I did my flight training (PPL/CPL) in the 1990's. I built my hours by renting clapped out C150s/C172s from my flight school. Back then, of course, the planes didn't have GPS on board, and while i had heard of the handhelds, they were still a thing of the future.....but man did I wish i could get one...
