Edo 2790

I have set of Edo 2790’s installed and we are having a bow wheel shimmy issue.
I have had the nose wheel assembly rebuilt, the tire pressure is good and everything seems tight.
If anyone has any ideas of what I could check it would be appreciated.

Thanks

Seaplane down at Powell Lake

I heard the end of a clip in the radio this morning.

I didn’t catch what happened or if the occupants were ok.

Anyone else hear what happened? and that status of the occupants?

Re: 50 hour course

Is Pilot_king! the owner of the seaplane academe? Thats my guess what do you guys think? I teach a few float endorsements a year and despite that we offer them I always recommend that the person does 10-12 hours or so and then spends there time and money looking for a job where they are going to fly...

Re: Beaver down off Saturna island?

Sorry I was unclear. I do not believe that accident one is. I think that that is bending the cause the engine was at high power when it contacted the water.

I was just saying that it may be possible to have a prop on a beaver feather.

Re: Beaver down off Saturna island?

The three bladed prop mod often seen on Beaver around these parts normally stops in fine pitch and is moved to coarse pitch by oil pressure. There is most certainly no way to feather a prop on a Beaver. I believe that an operator on the mid Island got in trouble for installing a three blade prop of...

Re: Beaver with broken wing Porpoise Bay

A Beaver struck its wing on the water during take-off in Comox Harbour this summer. The wing broke at the strut attach point. I wonder what the odds are that the same thing happended twice in just a few months. http://farm3.static.flickr.com/2436/3947448059_0f65f1323c_m.jpg http://farm4.static.flick...

P. Ponk

I am looking to put a P.Ponk O-470-50 in my early model Cessna 182. They are approved on all models of 180’s but not until the P model 182. Dose any one have experience on getting a LSTC? I am looking for a time frame and cost from some one with experience. Also if anyone has other suggestions for a...

What would you charge?

What would you charge to ferry a float plane to the new owner. I possibly can do it in one day but it will probably take 2 days.

How do you guy’s charge: per mile, hour, or by the day.

Thanks
