I'll try to answer as much as I can... - Salary seems to be the same these days as what is on Airline Central. - No bond on the 1900, but there is on the Dornier. - Somewhat flexible with the 3000 hrs for upgrades, but it depends on how much time you have been with the company as well - ie: seniorit...

What 2MileFinal said... It's pretty expanatory to be honest. First new page has what many ops will be using... Flip it over and next you find those applicable to Ops Spec numbers... You should know whether or not your company has Ops Spec or not.

Shower... It's an MOH requirement (or ORNGE now). You may be able to log some left seat time if you're PPC'd for it by flying the empty legs. However, depending on the amount of multi pic time you already have, it may obviously take quite a while. There are plenty of other Navajo jobs out there that...

Just check out your profile on AC's website. In the Education section, there's a scroll down list of uni's and colleges that they've got on there. If yours is listed, great! If not, I'm sure they'll add it in the future on the site...

Again, I agree with TCGuy. Just had mine processed not too long ago. I went into an office and went over what they wanted to the tee. As far as XC time goes, I remember reading somewhere in my studies that it was anything further than 25nm (although it isn't stated in the CARs). Now, that's not real...

I agree with TC Guy - when I had mine processed, the inspector/licencing officer didn't need to see actualy routing, just a flight number. You could include a post-it or document stating what routes the flight numbers refer to, but it's not actually required as TC can look them up in their database....

So, apparently prices have dropped significantly! Oh well. In that case, in reply to some of your questions, firstly they're a very great quality headset. They cut out noise really well, even as well as or better than DC's that I've tried with ANC. Also like what was mentioned, they work really well...

Thanks a lot guys - I spoke to the CFI there this morning and he seems like a great guy. He answered many questions for me. Anyone know about Timmins?

I'll probably be doing the North Bay route, but I need a back up if plans fall through. Thanks again for your advice all!

North Bay or Timmins School Info?

Hey Folks, I was wondering if anyone could shed some light on what flight schools or colleges are located in or around either of these two towns in Ontario (Timmins and North Bay)? I'm looking to move to one or the other and need to get an instructor job. Any help is much appreciated!! Cheers, GS

Coastal is a well organized machine that will allow you to get you your licences and ratings in an expedient, professional manner. I went there and have many positive things to say about the program(s), however, if I were to do it all again at a Flight College/University, I would have chosen the Sau...

Good Movie?

I'm sorry boys and girls - but this movie absolutely sucked! How much more inaccurately could an engine failure be depicted? I laughed my ass off before turning the thing off the screen. You would think that by now directors and their "artistically licenced" counterparts who come up with these shot ...

YVR airfare

Went last year - somewhat of a cluster-you-know-what... I kind of felt sorry for all the company representatives being completely bombarded by 200 hour wonders, but I suppose they're used to it - It's a shame that it costs so much to attend, but hopefully it's the start of what could turn out to be ...
