FI positions have nothing to do with seniority. There are ways for FIs to get captain upgrade out of seniority. Probably what he is talking about. Which ways are those? Contract article please. I believe that ALPA has adjusted policy on claiming alcohol as an expense and this may be a partial workaround Again with the alcohol. $2000 a month is quite the party. Exactly how much of my paycheque is going towards mean-drunk bullying away the one guy that could probably turn this ship around? ...

This is not true. Yes PITs have been cancelled but merged into larger classes due to scheduling/instructor availability and recurrent training flow.

787 FO went to Fedex (last year) 737 FO went to United (last month) both had ability to work in the United States. However many current Air Canada pilots have all their FAA ATP/Airman Certificates and just need a "green card" or such to actually work. Probably 20-30 pilots are actively doing the imm...
