Re: Sky Regional Travel Benefits

Post  by HansDietrich » Tue Dec 13, 2016 4:07 pm That's pretty cool. It seems to be that positions being offered are very diverse from class to class. In the end, we all agreed when we applied to Jazz that regardless of what base or plane we get, even if we're the last pick, we'd be okay with it. I...

Re: Do people go from Jazz to Sky.

I am seriously considering moving from Jazz to Sky Regional and I've had a few of my co-workers express the same intention, due to being locked on the same aircraft for 4 years. The way I see it, if I ever get PFOd from AC, which is a big chance, considering the competition (a lot of capable men an...

Exactly, people see some post and assume it must be due to shortage. They hear a rumour and it must be lack of crew for the cancel. Proof

What's with all their planes being painted white and having the Air Canada markings removed? Noticed that when I was in Halifornia the other day. Let me axe you question; If you were the "Flag Carrier" of your country, would you want your name on the side of aircraft belonging to "SkeetAir Air"? Na...

Does choosing ALPA mean that we will have to adopt a seniority-based scheduling and bidding system? Absolutely not. ALPA will respect and support the choice of the WestJet pilots in determining how they want to be scheduled through collective bargaining negotiations. - See more at: http://www.alpa....

Duty times? was this a continues duty? That morning, Gronych flew into the Calgary airport at 12:48 a.m. He was scheduled to report back at 6 a.m. for a 7 a.m. flight scheduled to make stops in Regina and Winnipeg before continuing to Cancun, Mexico, with 99 passengers and six flight crew on board.
