Re: Management pressure: 2 Pilots YYC - FRA?

Unfortunately all the info above is verified by union emails Company pressured 2 pilots to go to Europe despite contravention to the contract Company also gave away personal information to hackers making RAICs compromised 2 pilots to Europe? That’s terrible! How did I do it for 37 years? Snowflakes...

Re: Is being Relief Pilot detrimental to career

Absolutely it is detrimental. The type rating is useless and you aren't flying anymore and building your piloting skill set. As you mentioned it makes you much less marketable to other airlines too. Wow…really?! I guess if Air Canada is only a stepping stone for another job (which is usually pretty...

Re: Airfares will be slashed in half: WestJet CEO

.....well, I think we should just stop all the buses services and replace them by flights..for the same fares..and also pay the pilot the same salaries...

I am sooo sad when i see these news....

Re: Airfares will be slashed in half: WestJet CEO

Wow....this is just so f...up. Pretty much anytime we hear about pilot wages being too high and airlines not making money..its seems like pretty much everyone agree that one big part of the problem..is the fares not being high enough.....well now, we have an airline being proud of advertising that t...

Jumpseat

Hi guys, my question is regarding the jumpseating policy when you start with Air Canada. I know you can start using passes with Air Canada only after 6 months with the company, with exception from traveling between your home and your base, but what about the jumpseat with other airlines such as West...
