Re: A message to all GGN Pilots from a Jazz Pilot

It really is a simple choice for GGN pilots....either you stay or you move on to Jazz. Jazz (ALPA that is) has to decide on a cut off date, as it would be really unfair for any new Jazz hires (coming off the street) to be over taken by GGN pilots that end up dragging their feet beyond the agreed cro...

Re: Thomas Cook on the edge of bankrupcy

Apparently Adria Airways (Slovenia) is on the edge as well.

Two planes repossessed by lessors yesterday. Apparently a third one is on the way out.

Re: Sukhoi Superjet on fire Moscow

Is it me, or does it look like the engines (or at least starboard one) was still running during the evacuation video?? It seems like major flames are shooting out from the back, although it's hard to see, since the entire half of aircraft was burning..

Re: Record revenues vs 4 year flat pay

The piece you don't understand Schnitzel, is the low starting pay has nothing to do with Air Canada (The Corporation) and everything to do with ACPA. The company could care less if the 4000 Pilots were all paid exactly the same, all that matters to them is the cost of the entire Pilot payroll. It i...

No more flying to Europe, period. It looks like enitre European airspace and Australia and parts of Asia have placed a ban on the MAX at the moment. Interesting times ahead for Boeing. Will it admit the fault or will it just continue working on "enhancing an already safe product" as they said yester...

Re: Jazz Payscale Updated 2019

You guys can spin these pay rates all day long, how ever you want guys....but bottom line in 2019 entry level pay is embarrassing both for Jazz or AC....but obviously 70% (Jazz) said they are happy to go with it, so it's time to move on. I will say though that Jazz contract is superior to many other...

Re: Think carefully before you make your next move

Just remember guys, WHY does this shortage exist in the first place? Because of endless concessions, negotiations, and CARROTS. Think about why there would be signing bonus for such a deal? Dont we all "bribe" our kids to do something they don't want to do? There are also just 2 express carriers no...

Re: Think carefully before you make your next move

Lightchop.....I am thinking very careful and I say NO to this FIRST offer. There will be another round of negotiations if we stick together. And if there isn't one, so be it. Let GGN keep their CRJs and fly them harder and for less pay then us. Let them even get 900s....plenty of other airlines hiri...

2% a year for the next 17 years???? You are kidding me right?! And if that is so, then we don't deserve any better and if I was the...

When we are on the subject of pay, can someone tell me what does today (2017) captain and FO make starting pay on a normal block of 80hrs (NO OVER TIME OR PER DIEM PLEASE) As well, what does someone has to look forward to in say 5-6 years down the road as a captain pay and FO (in case the music stop...

Re: Middle East now open to Turbo Prop Pilots'

So new EK bond is 5 yrs ($45,000USD), correct?

Say you just can't handle it anymore, and leave in your 3rd year? How do they get the rest of the money? They can cut your last pay check...but what if that isn't enough to recover the bond? Just curious what happens?

Nippon Cargo Airlines (NCA)

Anyone have any information about this outfit. They seem to be on the lookout for FOs and from what I read so far on the web (info is relatively old though) they seem to be a very good place, but T&C have been reduced over the years. I'm interested in their roster primarily and commuting options whe...
