Re: Steinbach midair

What a tragedy. Both Steinbach airports are among the more hectic airports I've ever flown into, when the circuit is full it takes some focus. Harvs generally runs a good operation, what a blow. I'd like to know the AC involved, is there any way to find out?

Re: Cornwall aviation for IFR 3 training?

Do they require you to show up with a multi rating for the multi ifr blast off? In your experience what did it end up costing? Im comparing my options for multi ifr and while I know there is no ''cheap'' when it comes to multi IFR, im wondering what the most economical route is.

Instrument time, safety pilot?

Quick question about logging hood time towards a CPL. Does the person in the other seat have to be a certified instructor, or can anyone be a safety pilot?

How does TC remove the batteries to ensure you haven't got some nefarious program stored in the computers memory?
They make you twirl the wheel around a couple times.

Re: Commercial Pilot Written Exam Preparation

The harvs course is ok but definitely follow the procedure recommended above. Even then it takes a LONG time to do all the quizzes, which you have to do to get the reccomend to take the cpaer.

Re: Career change to pilot

I'm in the same boat. Been working for the last year to save the cash for all licenses and ratings. Should be good to go shortly, and wondering what the climate is looking like.
