Starts ~17:45. The reject call came across on here. At least tower mentioned to keep the EMB in sight twice, might have helped?

Re: There are no "Bad Seats" for commuters on the A220!
Seats are wider but the regular seats are still a very limiting 30" pitch. Perhaps not a significant issue if you're under 6ft...by no means comfortable for more than an hour or two if you're >6ft.

Below the wing usually refers to ground crews, with above the wing being anyone onboard.

They were on tower frequency and cleared to land. This article says tower tried waving them off with a light gun: http://www.eastbaytimes.com/2017/10/23/ ... up-at-sfo/pelmet wrote:Or was the radio problem that NorCal approach was still selected.

Is it possible to hit 0 during the voice prompts? That can sometimes get around the scripted call flows.

Re: Domestic 787 routes
Can generally be found on YYZ-YVR, YUL-YYZ (occasionally) and YUL-YVR (starting in a few months). As mentioned, while other parts of the experience are superior to other aircraft, the seats are not. However the 777 now has the same seats and the upcoming MAX will certainly be similar. If you're doin...

Re: Air Canada incident- turn left, turn right?
They seem to be focusing a bit much on the turn direction. If they turned right they may have interfered with traffic behind them on downwind/base. It's possible, but less likely that the controller wanted to spin 467 around for spacing. Simplest explanation at this point is the clearance was issued...

Re: Air Canada incident- turn left, turn right?
After listening to it, my armchair observer impression is the controller may have thought they were issuing the right 040 to AC727 which was arriving from the south, but mistakenly addressed it to AC467, which read back and followed the clearance - though they turned left vs right - and resulted in ...

Wonder what was going on with the 732 in the video. Looked like it was just sitting there with nose gear in the grass close to the runway.

They could be EMB190 replacements. The 737-8/9 MAX are quite a bit larger than the existing 319/320/190s and would leave a large gap in aircraft sizes between mainline and express.

Pretty sure the Southwest 345 accident at LGA had a female captain.
