As you all know by now, Aveos? Air Canada heavy maintenance is dead. 2600 AME's on the street. Not much future for graduating apprentices.
So try another trade when you are young, no future here.
AC planes going all over the world for maintenance, none left at home.

I also lost my job with Aveos in Vancouver. Same thing , sent resumes all over country and nothing back. Also heard Air Canada is going to be having a huge recall. Sucks for all of us who had to give up our recall rights. Now we have nothing.
