To Kilpiki: Not fair to say all of us that worked at Air Canada are write-offs. There was good people and some not so good, but that goes for any work environment. As you all know by now, Aveos? Air Canada heavy maintenance is dead. 2600 AME's on the street. Not much future for graduating apprentices.
So try another trade when you are young, no future here.

I also lost my job with Aveos in Vancouver. Same thing , sent resumes all over country and nothing back. Also heard Air Canada is going to be having a huge recall. Sucks for all of us who had to give up our recall rights. Now we have nothing.
