Censorship is apparently more harmful than misinformation.

Nice! What kind of gear are you using? I've been practicing with a Mavic Mini since last fall, and have the basic license. It's good to know there's some money in this. I'm also part of the 600.

Re: Save Our Country & Our Industry
Then we would be silencing people, and infringing on their right to free speech. The people of this forum have made it very clear that misinformation is welcome here. Censorship is clearly far more dangerous.

Poll: Anti-Vax content on AvCanada
There have been a number of anti lockdown, and anti mask threads on this forum. Going forward, should we continue to allow anti vax content here?

you know the genius people who chime in here to try and change my mind. Nah, I've stopped trying to change your Libertarian mind a long time ago. You'll oppose anything the government does. I'm just showing all the lurkers that not everyone here shares your beliefs. Honestly with all the dumpster f...

Re: Save Our Country & Our Industry
I've read through the document, and I have some respectful constructive feedback. The author is clearly smart, and has found a number of studies to support their premise in Part 1. But after reading Parts 2 and 3, the hyperbolic premise of the whole paper becomes clear: Elitist liberal governments w...

Re: Save Our Country & Our Industry
People here are not denying covids existence. Let's just call out the game here. It's grievance politics. You can see it all over this thread. Here's how the game goes: 1) Minimize or discredit others. In this case, the belief that the cases and deaths are overblown. Anyone who believes the governm...

Re: Carbon tax announced December 2020
Too bad this place is a Conservative echo chamber. Just like COVID, this forum will insist that climate change doesn't exist, and that our government is either evil or inept for attempting to fight it. Getting in their faces about it won't fix it, sadly. Showing them contrary facts, or antagonizing...

Getting back to climate change/carbon tax: "Here is Dr. Patrick Moore's description of his unique thesis as presented in "Fake Invisible Catastrophes and Threats of Doom"." Greenpeace offers a rebuttal (with references) to some of this gentleman’s claims. https://www.greenpeace.org/usa/news/greenpe...

Re: Potential Airline Bailout
Your argument is also flawed, the competition in question has been subsidized by government bailouts or loans, 40 billion to US carriers alone with another 14 billion coming their way. One carrier has received 14 billion to bring back furloughed employees which it only needed 10% of that, the rest ...

Re: Potential Airline Bailout
So we agree then! Both the Liberal party and Conservatives are bad for this country. I look forward for your support for the NDP or Green party in the next federal election. According to you, the Cons want to break up airlines. The Liberals apparently want them to come as close as possible to ceasi...
